Lillie Mae Couey, age 90, passed away at her home in Trilby, Florida, Sunday, November 27, 2016. She was born in Zephyrhills, Florida. She and her husband, Jeff Couey, were married 54 years.

They are survived by one daughter: Yvonne Miller, and her husband Lamar Miller; grandson: T.J. Miller; three great grandchildren: Dylan, Brittany, Sonya Miller, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Lil Couey's late father and mother were Homer and Theonia Fallin. She had one sister: Emma Lee Bailey; and three brothers: Louis, Johnny, and Mayhue Fallin.

She was the longtime Post Master at Trilby Post Office(1971-1994). She truly enjoyed working with everyone.

The family will be receiving family and friends at Hodges Family Funeral Home Wednesday night, November 30, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 1, 2016, at Hodges Family Funeral Home Hwy 301, Dade City location, with burial following at the Trilby Cemetery.
