Smith, Lillian Loraine 89 of Dade City, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Heritage Park Care Center. She was born January 21, 1926 in New York, NY to Fredrick A. & Anna E. Moslander and was a retired Kindergarten Teacher. She was a member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church in New Port Richey where she was a former Sunday School Teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband: James B. Smith Jr, a retired Detective from the Greenwich, CT Police Department, and her brother: William Moslander. She is survived by her children: Charles J. (Kathleen) Smith, New Smyrna Beach, FL, Thomas M. (Susan) Smith, Greenwich, CT, Cynthia A. (Kyle) Hughes, Dade City, FL; 1 sister: Anna Coughlin, Rye, NY; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 2pm Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. She will be interred at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Flowers will be gratefully accepted or those that wish may make donations in her name to Hospice or Alzheimers Research.
