Lillian "Margaret" Davis, 89, a life long resident of Dade City, FL, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Gulfside Center for Hospice Care at Bayfront Health Dade City.Margaret was born October 12, 1924, in Dade City, FL, to Carrie (Dess). She was a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant, starting at Jackson Memorial and the moving to a private practice. Mrs Davis was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Lacoochee, FL.Margaret is survived by her husband of 55 years Dennis Davis of Dade City; 7 daughters, Maxine & Bill Lowe of Lakeland, Linda & Ron Clark of Lakeland, Linda &Bob Lambert of Ohio, Carolyn & Rick Turner of Virginia, Phyllis Davis of Kansas, Brenda Stennett of Kansas and Arlene & Mike Ile of Lakland; 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-child; aunt Dorothy Golladay; and many family and friends. She is preceded in death by her daughter Louise Morey of Lakeland; mother Carrie Dees of Dade City; grandmother Belle Dees of Dade City; 3 aunts Mary, alice and Sally.Funeral Services for Mrs Davis will be held at 11am Monday March 10, 2014 at Hodges Family Funeral Home 301 Chapel in Dade City, with burial to follow at Williams Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-6pm on Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated in Lillian's name to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. ox 96011, Washington DC 20090-6011
