Zipperer, Lewis I., 70, of Dade City, FL, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2014, at Bayfront Health in Dade City.Lewis was born May 4, 1943, in Jennings, FL, to Carley Theo Zipperer and Martha Jewel (Stalvey) Zipperer.He enjoyed reading, woodworking, and cooking.Lewis is survived by his wife Janis (Knighton) Butler, whom he married on December 27, 1991; his children Lewis Zipperer, William Zipperer, Chris Butler and Rebekah Walker; six grandchildren; brothers Eugene Zipperer and Martin Zipperer; and sisters Kathryn Murray and Aveline Britton.A funeral mass for Mr. Zipperer will be held at 10am on Friday, Febrary 21, at St. Anthony of Padua in San Antonio, FL. He will be inurned at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL, Tuesday, February 25, at 2pm.
