Leonard R. Daszkiewicz, passed away suddenly at Advent Health Dade City, on November 11th, 2024. He answered the call of Christ and returned to his Father's House at the age of 81 years.

He is Survived by his loving wife of 54 years Noreen Daszkiewicz; Kristina Quenneville (daughter), Sonya Hamilton (daughter), James Quenneville (son-in-law), Jason Hamilton (son-in-law), Keara Flores (granddaughter), Kevin Quenneville (grandson), Erik Quenneville (grandson), Sebastian Flores (great-grandson), Amelia Flores (great-granddaughter due in December)

Leonard was beloved by those who knew him and referenced him as the "Bamboo Man". As an avid collector of bamboo and dedicated Master Gardener with the UF/IFAS Extension Office of Pasco County, he loved to "play in the dirt" and grow new and different plant varieties. He was always up to a spirited discussion of perennial gardening or to talk about his time in the Coast Guard and life on the islands of Hawaii.

Leonard worked in many different fields over his 81 years from restaurant, Seaman, academic, sugarcane and citrus agriculture, sales, and finally security.

Visitation will be held at Hodges Funeral Home – Dade City, on Wednesday, November 20th, 2024, at 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
