CAYE, Leonard A. Sr., 82, of Dade City, FL, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 5th, 2023. Leonard was born on March 15th, 1941 in East Hartford, CT to parents, Charles E. Caye Sr. And Florence (House) Caye. He was the youngest of eight siblings. Leonard lived in Connecticut, California, and Florida, and retired from the City of Dade City, where he worked in their fleet maintenance. When not working, Leonard enjoyed the outdoors, he loved his fishing trips, attending car shows, he truly had a passion for classic cars, and most of all, he enjoyed the time he spent with his family. He is survived by his children, Cindy Jaconelli of California, Lynda Turner (Gary) of Georgia, Leonard Caye Jr. (Ashley) of Florida, Grandchildren, Shelby Lethco of Georgia, Lathen Caye of Florida, and Alaina Caye of Florida, Great Grandchild, Dawson Lethco of Georgia, Brother, George Caye, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends, and his furry friend, Lexi, who was like his child and never left his side. Preceding him in death is his parents, Charles E. Caye Sr., and Florence (House) Caye, Siblings, Peggy Caye, Louise (Caye) Dory, Arlene (Caye) Cramer, Charles Caye Jr., William Caye, and Ralph Caye. A small graveside service will be held at a later date for placement in the niche at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.
