Leon Dove, 69, of Lacoochee, Florida passed away June 14, 2022. Leon was born July 23, 1952 to James Arnold Dove and Susie Louise Dove in Hamilton County, Tennessee. He loved truck driving, fishing, and mostly his family. He enjoyed spending time with his family, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren were very dear to him. He is preceded in death by his first wife: Dorothy Dove; Parents: Arnold and Susie Dove; Daughter: Christina Dove; Siblings: Dewey Dove, Jack Dove, Claude Dove, William "Bill" Dove, John Dove, Jimmy Dove, Bertha Dove Boscanio. Leon is survived by his wife: Linda Dove; children: Theresa Mather, Ann Dove, Justice "Bubba" Chessher; siblings: Betty Goodwin, Bonita Childers (Wayne); 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews that loved him. A service will be held Friday, June 17, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, Florida. A visitation will take place prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow services at Floral Memory Gardens in Dade City, Florida.
