Cotter, Leo Charles 87, of Dade City, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 in North Carolina. He was born July 30, 1927 in St. Paul, MN to Eli & Viola Courneyea Cotter and was a longtime area resident. He was a Construction Contractor, a U.S. Navy Veteran and an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 66 years: Irene Cotter; 7 children: Terry (Nancy) Cotter, Thomas (JoAnn) Cotter, Kenny (Sandra) Cotter, Theresa Cotter Fiore, Paul Cotter, Mary Jo (Mike) Gude, Cathy (Glenn) Henry; 29 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 sons: Bernard Cotter, Michael Carl Cotter; and 1 grandson: Tommy Cotter. Funeral Mass will take place 10am Monday, June 15, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. The family will receive friends for viewing from 6-7pm Sunday evening at the church with a Rosary Service at 7pm.
