MacLeod, Lela M, 96, of Zephyrhills, FL, formerly of Waltham, MA, and Harrisville, NH, went home to be with her Lord, Sunday May 08, 2022 at her home in Wake Forest, NC while surrounded by loved ones. She was born on May 06, 1926 in Boston, MA. She is survived by her daughter, Cheri Wade of Wake Forest, daughter-in-law, Mary Lou MacLeod of Zephyrhills, five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her Lewis Roderick MacLeod (husband of 65 years), daughter Donna Lee Aho, son Bruce Alexander MacLeod, and parents Ralph C. and Annie C. Raymond. She married the love of her life in 1944 and they had three children. They moved to Waltham and she worked at Polaroid for 30 years. She retired to Zephyrhills in 1982. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Zephyrhills, was a proud and loyal member of the Lady Shriners of Cairo Court, No. 97, Zephyrhills. She had a quick wit and a warm smile. She was kind and helpful to those in need. She will be remembered fondly and frequently, missed dearly and deeply, loved forever by family and friends.
