Lee Edward Colvin, age 79 passed away at home while under Hospice Care on Easter morning, April 16, 2017. He moved to Dade City in May of 1959 with his wife (Evelyn Peacock) and first born, daughter seeking work. Born on February 16, 1938, in Georgiana, Alabama. He worked with his late Uncle, Homer Colvin, of Homers Upholstery of Dade City for approximately 35 years. He is survived by: 2 sisters, Kathleen Pugh Farley, in Greenville, AL, Betty Peacock from Montgomery AL. His oldest sister Hattie Browder of McKenzie, AL, preceded his death. He had 3 children, Cheryl Colvin Sanders, of Spring Hill, Carol Colvin Henderson of Dade City, and son Jeffrey Lee Colvin, who preceded him in death. One son-in-law, Randall Sanders, Jr. He is survived by 5 Grandchildren: Marcy L. Parsons, Bryan Holmes, Brandon Holmes, Brittany Colvin-Hunt Herrera, and Jesse Colvin. Seven Great-grand children: Jordan Parsons Lilyea, Piper Holmes, Bianca Herrera, Ike Jeffery Herrera, Jacoby Colvin, Letti Colvin and Gabriel Martinez. He will be laid to rest with his son, Jeffery Colvin at Mt. Zion Cemetery. There will be no services held.
