Lawrence T Sessoms, born September 21, 1942 in Havana, FL. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Trenton and Dollie Sessoms and brothers Lamar and Jimmy. At the age of 22, he enlisted in the US Army during the Vietnam War where he served as a helicopter mechanic. In 1967, he returned home to Zephyrhills, FL where he served as loving son, brother, and uncle. Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Linda Southern, sisters-in-law Susan Sessoms (Lamar) and Marie Sessoms (Jimmy), and numerous nieces and nephews. Though he never had children of his own, he will forever and gratefully be known as Uncle Trenton to his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great nieces and great-great nephews. A memorial service will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell FL on January 14, 2021 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gulfside Healthcare Services (Centers for Hospice Care).
