Lawrence Preston Overstreet, Jr., 84, of Dade City, passed away January 3, 2019 at home. He retired from Lykes Pasco Packing, Citrus World, and D & K Trucking. He was an active member and deacon of Pasadena Baptist Church. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents: Lawrence Preston Sr. and Lula Mae; brothers: Bobby and Gary; sisters: Betty (Joyner) and Shirley (Creel). Survivors include wife of 64 years: Odessa (ne Prater); brother: James Larry; children: Randy, Donna (Farmer), Denise; grandchildren: J.R., Justen, Crysta, Ashley (Brogan); great grandchildren: Jada, Rileigh, Wyatt, Jax; brothers-in-laws: Jim Creel and Milton Prater; sisters-in-laws: Leanne, Gay, and Jean; son-in-law: Chance; daughter-in-law: Connie; grandson-in-law: Patrick. Viewing will be 4-6PM January 8 at Hodges Family Funeral Home 11441 US Hwy 301, Dade City. Funeral Service will be at 11AM January 9 at Hodges Family Funeral Home with burial to follow at Williams Cemetery, Dade City; Luncheon following at Pasadena Baptist Church.
