Larry Joe Rollins, 79, of Inverness, FL died January 12, 2025 at Royal Oak Nursing Center in Dade City, FL.
He was born September 28, 1945 in Niles, MI to Curtis and Lois Rollins and raised in Southeast Missouri.
Immediately after graduation from Holcomb High School, Joe joined the Army and served both stateside and overseas. After leaving the Army, he went on to proudly serve two decades as a Reservist and Missouri National Guardsman before moving to Florida in 1986. In both his military and civilian work, his dedication to hard work was a common thread. He believed that any job worth doing was a job worth doing well.
Joe is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Linda Rollins and his parents. He is survived by his daughter Shannon (Jeff) Jones and grandchildren, Sarah and Braden Jones of Dade City, FL, sister Carla (Frank) Nettles of Washington, IL, and brother Gary (Donna) Rollins (Atlanta, GA) along with many nieces, nephews and extended family.
A graveside service will be held on January 29 at 11:00 AM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
