Larry Wayne McColl of Dade City passed on April 01, 2020, surrounded by his beloved family. Larry was born to Laurin and Virginia McColl on February 6, 1947, in Lumberton, NC and raised in Red Springs, NC. He spent time in the National Guard and then worked as a mechanic as a young man and as an electrician, painter and remodeling contractor over the years. There wasn't much he couldn't do when it came to houses. Larry loved riding motorcycles, building them and working on them as well as old classic cars. They were his passion. In recent years, he enjoyed going to swap meets with his friend and researching anything and everything on the computer. He loved his family dearly and his dogs. Larry is survived by his wife of almost 32 years, Pauline, his daughter Sandi Ellis (Loid), son Robert McColl (Denise), bonus son's Michael Mason (Sherry) and Chris Mason, grandsons Cody and Jake Ellis and bonus grandchildren Brittney Miller, Kenny Mason, Kristin and Kaitlin and bonus great-grandchildren Nicholas and Bella, close friend Pamela Childs, a brother Ken McColl and his family of Red Springs, NC, nephew Scott Parnell and his family. Larry also leaves behind his fur kids Abby, Diesel, Bagel and Sassy his squirrel.Larry was preceded in death by his parents Laurin and Virginia, his infant son Larry Wayne McColl Jr, his sister Sandra Parnell and nephew Daniel Parnell.
