Lanell Hicks, 85, of Dade City went to the Lord Wednesday, June 22, 2016. She was born March 1, 1931 in Covington County, AL and moved to Dade City in 1947. She is survived by her daughters: Josephine Pendrotti (Michael), Carolyn Brown (Tom); son: James W. Hicks; grandchildren: James D'wayne Hicks, Gregory Triplett, Stephanie Arno Banks, Evan Arno; great grandchildren: Heather Triplett, Justin Triplett, Jackson Arno, Olivia Arno, Landan Johnson; siblings: Myra Blankenship, James Merrill, Coy Merrill, Ronnie Merrill (Linda); and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years: J.D. Hicks. Funeral services will be held 3pm Friday, June 24, 2016 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens. Visitation
