Lamont Lee Simpson, March 17, 1969 January 5, 2023, Born in Dade City, Florida, and raised in Lacoochee, Florida. He lived, worked, and enjoyed life in Pasco county and Hernando County as well as the surrounding area of central Florida. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and all around outdoorsman. He had a big heart and was generous to many people throughout his life. He was known far and wide for his fun adventurous life, often flying by the seat of his pants and living life to the fullest. He was quite the joker and many enjoyed his antics and storytelling. He was born March 17, 1969 to Delores Audrey Mullis and Thomas Lamont Simpson. Lamont is survived by his children: Casey B Simpson, Harlee Randal Simpson, Megan Lane Simpson, and Lance Lee Simpson. Also, by his first grand child: Alexandyr Kies; Brothers: Jimmy Sweet, Billy Sweet, Jeff Simpson, Mike Simpson; sisters: Marybeth Simpson and Tonia Simpson Perez. He was preceded in death by his parents: Delores and Thomas; Lamonte Lee Simpson II, and his brothers: Thomas Simpson, Kenneth "Nick" Sweet; his sisters: Deborah Knight, Joyce Sweet, Judith Mancera, and his first child Lamont Lee Simpson II. He leaves behind many friends and loved ones including: Miranda Cloud English, mother of three of Lamonts Children; and dear friends aplenty. He will be missed by so many of his family and friends and people from the entire area. Bones was one of a kind! A service will take place on Friday, January 13, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, Florida. The visitation will take place prior to services from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow services at Lacoochee Cemetery. A reception will take place after interment at Lifestyle Church of God in Dade City, Florida.
