Karpelenia, Kim Alan, 67, of Wesley Chapel, Fl. Passed away on August 29, 2022. He was born on October 27, 1954 in Phoenix, Az to Michael and Patricia Karpelenia. Kim graduated from Alhambra High School in 1972. Upon graduating he enlisted in the US Coast Guard, having served from 1972 to 1979. While enlisted he was a member of the Presidential Honor Guard. While serving in the Military, he met and married his wife Margaret on March 22, 1977 in Largo, Fl. Throughout his life he lived in cities like: Phoenix, Az, Tampa, Fl, and Wesley Chapel, Fl. Kim took great pride in being a husband, father, and grandfather, spending time with his daughters and grandchildren, anything Tampa sports related; he was a Buccaneers season ticket holder. He loved fishing and barbecuing, a hot slot machine, time with friends, and watching the world go by. Kim was employed by Bausch and Lomb, and National Gypsum. Kim is survived by his daughters; Sherri (Carey) Wright, and Carole (Ed) McQuiston, grandchildren; Nichole Ferrell, Brian McQuiston, and AJ McQuiston. Kim was preceded in death by his wife Margaret, who passed away in 2018. A viewing will take place on Friday, September 2, from 6-8 at Hodges Family Funeral Home Zephyrhills, Fl. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, September 3 at 10 at Dade City Cemetery, Dade City, Fl.
