WILSON, Kenneth Joseph, 83 of Dade City, FL died Tuesday, Feb 7, 2017 at Gulfside Hospice. Ken was born in Chicago, IL. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War and subsequently served in the Military Police with the Army. He was a Certified welder and traveled the United States working for numerous nuclear powerhouses. He and Luella were the owners and operators of a Service Master franchise in Tampa from 1987 to 1998, he was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dade City and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Ken enjoyed spending his retirement years developing his art skills and was an accomplished artist. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Luella, daughters Andrea (William) Klett of Valrico, FL and Norma Burwell of Davenport, FL, his grandchildren Katrina (Maxwell) McDougall of Tampa, FL, Sean Burwell (Sara Curtis) of Cohoes, NY, Kimberly (David) Barrow of Riverview, FL, and Kendrick Klett of Valrico, FL, and his great grandchildren Stella and Callie Burwell. Visitation will begin at 4 pm followed by a prayer service at 5 pm to be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, on Sunday, February 12th, followed by an Irish Celebration reception in the church parish hall at 6:00 pm. A mass of Christian burial with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, Feb 13, 2017, where Ken will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
