Thompson, Kenneth W., 82 of Plant City, FL passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014. He was born October 31, 1931 in Lacoochee, FL to Charles Phillip & Vera Olive Brassen Thompson and was a retired Insurance Agent. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of the First Community Church of Dade City. He is survived by his wife: Ann Thompson; 5 children: P.C. "Bubba" (Pat) Thompson, Janelle (Wayne) Ballard, Tracy J. Thompson, Eric (Amy) Janes, Dawn Janes; 3 grandchildren: Brandi (Chad) Tadlock, Mandy Janes, Kaydee Janes; 2 great grandchildren: Cody & Tyler Tadlock; 2 brother: Leland Thompson and Eddie Carmen Thompson; and his beloved Bella. Funeral services will be held 11am Monday, April 7, 2014 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in his memory to offset medical expenses.
