Nichols, Kenneth S. 65, of Richland, FL passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025. He was the son of Wilbur Kenneth (WK) & Gwendolyn Celeste Nichols, born February 7, 1959, in Dade City, FL. He was a lifelong area resident and member of the Cornerstone Community Church in Richland (formerly known as Richland Assembly of God), where he could be found playing the tambourine with the band. He started his career at the Publix Super Market in Zephyrhills and worked his way up to the Publix Warehouse in Lakeland before his retirement. He devoted his entire life to serving God and demonstrated this devotion by generously sharing his love and compassion with those around him through countless acts of service that touched many lives in the community. He also had a unique talent for seeing the potential in discarded items, skillfully repurposing and recycling them into useful creations, leaving a legacy of creativity and environmental care.
Kenny is survived by his 6 children: Angie Cvach of Dade City, Michelle (James) Brown of Dade City, Eric Nichols of Zephyrhills, Linda Nichols of Alabama, Richard Nichols of Zephyrhills, Kenna Nichols of Zephyrhills; his sister Brenda V. Heath of Dade City; and 4 grandchildren: Jesse, Rebekah & Elizabeth Cvach, and Waylon Sims. Along with many loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering / celebration of life will be held Friday, January 24, 2025, from 4-6pm at the Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kenny's memory to a charity of your choice.
