Kenneth C. Lamb of Zephyrhills passed away July 18, 2020. He was born April 7, 1952 in Johnson City, NY. He was united in marriage to Judy Valentine on July 8, 1972. He was Specialist 4 th Class in the Army during the Vietnam War. While working and supporting his family he earned his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Binghamton University. Some of his memberships included Deacon, Youth Leader, Financial Secretary, and Usher at First Baptist Church of Marathon, NY, Volunteer and supporter of Word of Life Teen Ministries, Clerk and Member of Zoning Board for the Town of Lisle, NY, School Board Member of Whitney Point Central Schools in NY. His church memberships included First Baptist Church of Marathon and most recently New Walk Church of Zephyrhills. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Doris Lamb. Survivors include his beloved wife, Judy of Zephyrhills; children, Michelle (Martin) Rood of Zephyrhills; Bryan (Kavita) Lamb of Latham, NY, Matthew (Shannon) Lamb of Vestal, NY; grandchildren, Shelby Rood, Breanne Rood, Daniel Lamb, Colin Rood, Jakob Lamb, Nathan Lamb and Lucas Lamb; siblings, Cheryl Lamb of Vestal, NY, Tom (Nikki) Lamb of Lisle, NY, Tim (Christine) Lamb of Binghamton, NY. Ken was a selfless man that gave so much to his church, wife, family and community. He has touched countless people over the years and will be truly missed. A memorial service will take place 2 PM Monday July 27, 2020 at New Walk Church in Zephyrhills. A future date celebration of life will take place in Marathon, NY.
