Kazuko Y. Waddey, 86, of Zephyrhills passed away June 10, 2019 at Advent Health Zephyrhills.

Kazuko was born in Fukuoka, Japan on December 10, 1932.

She married James H. Waddey on July 20,1956.

She became a Naturalized Citizen of the United States of America on September 15, 1966.

Kazuko worked in the local Woodland Elementary School cafeteria and retired after 13 years of faithful service. When she wasn't busy helping her coworkers out, she used her artistic abilities to decorate the lunchroom for every significant holiday and season on the school's calendar.w

She is survived by sons, James K. Waddey, Edward T. Waddey and his wife Angela L. Waddey; grandchildren, Edward T. Waddey II, Jennifer L. Ellington, and Annabelle R. Waddey. Visitation from 2-5 PM Saturday June 15th at Hodges Family Funeral Home Zephyrhills.
