Kathy Jo Catrett, 65, of Dade City passed away peacefully on August 23rd, surrounded by her family. Kathy grew up in Dade City, FL and Opp, AL and left an impact on so many lives in both cities. She worked at Helena Chemical (Lykes Agri Sales) for 30 years and enjoyed working with so many wonderful people within the community. Kathy will be dearly missed and always remembered. Kathy was predeceased in death by her father, Jo Daniel Gay, mother, Katherine Anderson Gay, brother, Alan "Buddy" Gay and sister, Nancy Taylor. She is survived by her sister Shirley Baine and brother Adam Gay, her fianc Gary "Buck" Joiner, her daughters, Nicki Green and spouse John Green and Elizabeth Virgen and spouse Jose Virgen. Her most adored grandchildren Clay Green and spouse Haley Green, Lauren Green, Josie Virgen, Natalie Virgen and her great grandson Dixon Green. We are requesting a celebration of life to be held in her honor as opposed to a traditional funeral service. We request all of Kathys loved ones and friends to join us in celebrating her beautiful life at Hodges Funeral Home of Dade City on Friday, August 27th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
