Kathryn Marie Pless, 57, died early in the morning of August 31st, 2018 in New Port Richey, Florida after a long illness. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 4th, at the First Baptist Church of Dade City where she was a long-time member. Kathryn Marie McDowell was born on May 6th, 1961 in Galesburg, Illinois to Robert and Elsie McDowell. Kathy moved to Florida in the late 80s before having her son, Joseph and daughter, Mary. She married Wayne Pless of Dade City, Florida in 1993 and they raised their family in the Baptist faith on their small farm in Pasco County. Kathy loved writing, knitting, reading, sharing her faith, helping others, and having a good laugh. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. She is survived by her children and two grandchildren. She would prefer you not to mourn her passing, but celebrate her joy in reuniting with those who have gone on before and being embraced in the eternal glory of Our Lord. Memorial Service
