Kathleen "Kate" (O'Connor) Beeman, 71, of Dade City, FL, passed away peacefully at home on January 24, 2025.

Kate was born on April 1, 1953, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Thomas O'Connor and Marion (Hurley) O'Connor. After graduating high school, Kate moved to Florida where she attended St. Leo College and graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Education. Kate had an extensive teaching career that included several years with Hernando County Schools, Saddlebrook Prep, and a dedicated 34 years with Pasco County Schools. After retirement, she loved visiting her grandchildren and enjoyed camping with her husband and friends as members of the Roamin' Rigs R.V. club.

Kate was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, survived by her husband, Lawrence "Larry" Beeman; her daughter, Sarah Apsey (Keith), her 2 sons, Chris Apsey (Amity) and Charlie Apsey-Weder (Mark), stepdaughter, Erin Foy (Ken); sister, Sally Fitzgerald (Jim), brothers, Tod O'Connor (Paula) and Austin "Rusty" O'Connor (Beth); adored grandchildren, Emilee, Connor, Elliott and Tyler, several nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.

Kate is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Marion O'Connor, her sister, Betsy Trevino, and her first husband, Ronald "Ron" Apsey, whom she had 3 children with.

Services will be held at Hodges Funeral Home in Dade City. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th at 11:00 am.
