Hinson, Katheryn Pinkston, 71, of Lacoochee, FL, passed away on July 29, 2014, at Heartland of Zephyrhills in Zephyrhills, FL.Katheryn was born November 10, 1942, in Dade City, FL, to Johnnie James Pinkston and Pearl Oneda (Hale) Pinkston.She is survived by two sisters: Jeanette (Harold) Sasser, & Linda Gayle Buchanan (David Williamson), both of Lacoochee; One brother: Johnnie K (Loretta) Pinkston, Baxley, GA. Two daughters: Terri (Virgil) Jones, San Antonio; Tammi (David) Wheeler, Lacoochee. Four grandchildren: Ronald (Sophia) Jones, & Daniel (Sophia) Jones, San Antonio; Ashley Wheeler & John Wheeler, Lacoochee. Four great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews, as well as many friends.She was a homemaker.She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Hinson, and her parents, as well as a brother, James Norman Pinkston.Funeral services for Mrs. Hinson will be held at 10am on Saturday, August 2, 2014, at Hodges Family Funeral Home 5th Street Chapel, in Dade City, with burial to follow at Dade City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8pm on Friday at the funeral home (5th Street Chapel).
