Katherine A. Pinter, 94, of Dade City died on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa. Ms. Pinter was born in Cleveland, OH to Rollin Williams & Susan (Wittich) Williams. She was one of the first residents of Fisherman's Cove in Dade City, where she lived for 30 years. Ms. Pinter was an aviary professional and owned her own pet shop, the perfect profession for an animal lover. She was also a past Chaplain for the Dade City American Legion Post 15. During that time she used her sewing skills to make and donate afghans. Her hobbies also included playing the organ and traveling. She is survived by her companion of 21 years Morris "Moe" G. Brower, her son Glenn Thaw, a close friend Jeanie Burgwin, several nieces and nephews, and many, many friends. She was a good, supportive mother that stood by her son throughout the years, and an all-around wonderful person. She will be truly missed. Katherine's family will receive friends at beginning at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 11441 Hwy 301, Dade City, FL. A graveside service will begin at 1:00 pm at Floral Memory Gardens Visitation
