Katherine (Tropea) Napoli, 106, formerly of Solvay, passed away Friday, July 7, 2023, in San Antonio, FL. She was born on April 24, 1917, in Fulton, NY to the late Pietro and Susan (Donato) Tropea. She lived her best years in Solvay, NY. She had a love for the casino and cooking, as well as listening to Italian music, eating sweets, and drinking Strawberry Daiquiris. Her secret to longevity was Italian bread and butter. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Sam Napoli in 1996. She was also predeceased by her siblings, John, Connie, and Pete, and son-in-law, Ray West.

She is survived by her son, John (Marion) Napoli, of Camillus, daughter, Dolores West, of Florida; granddaughters, Jodi Napoli and Lori (Milo) Peterson; great-grandchildren, Milo, Jessica, and Sarah Peterson; her brother, Nicholas Tropea; "grand dog" Zoey, many nieces and nephews, along with a large family of friends.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Katherine touched may call from 9:30 AM-10:45 AM Friday, July 14, 2023, at St. Marianne Cope Parish-St. Cecilia Church, 1001 Woods Rd, Solvay, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following at 11:00 AM. Catherine will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners.
