Karen Jean Mcdowell (Druc), 48, passed away July 16, 2016 after she lost the fight to recover from a heart surgery in May 2016. She was born on April 7, 1968 in Livonia, Michigan and moved to Dade City, Florida later in life. She was a survivor of cancer three times and inspired many. Her life was spent devoted to her family and answering the call to be a nurse and care for others.

Karen is survived by her mother Cheryl Druc, her brother Paul Druc, his wife Christina Druc and their children. Her sister Pam Druc and family, Her Daughter Amber Druc, son in law Michael Counts Jr. and grandsons Jacob and Jase Counts. As well as cousins, Aunts, Uncles and loving friends that were just like family to her.

A private celebration of life is being held for her in October 2016. If you wish to send something please donate to a breast cancer foundation. She will be greatly missed and remembered with love.
