Kandy Lynn Pipkin, aged 54, of Wesley Chapel, passed away on July 30, 2024, in Wesley Chapel, FL.
Born on February 16, 1970, in Lewisville, Arkansas, Kandy was the beloved daughter of Patsy and Johnny Jones. She grew up in Falcon with her siblings Cindy Jones and Joey Jones, and shared many cherished moments with her childhood friends Stephanie May, Tammy Downs, and Ladon Walters.
Kandy attended Stamps High School and went on to pursue higher education at Texarkana College, where she studied nursing. Her dedication and passion for helping others led her to a distinguished career at Advent Health Wesley Chapel, where she served as the Endoscopy Registered Nurse Coordinator and Head of Infection Control.
Throughout her life, Kandy resided in various places, including Buckner, AR, Nixa, MO, and Wesley Chapel, FL. She married three times, first to Mark Pipkin on March 28, 1990, in Falcon, AR, then to Jeffery Korte on May 26, 2000, in Nixa, MO, and finally to Thomas Miller on November 26, 2021, in Clearwater, FL.
Kandy had a zest for life and enjoyed a variety of hobbies including scrapbooking, karaoke, cooking, basketball, reading thriller novels, styling and cutting hair, and traveling with her family. She was a beautiful woman known for her motivation, kindness, compassion, humor, competitiveness, intelligence, resourcefulness, tenacity, and acceptance.
Kandy is survived by her loving spouse, Thomas Miller of Wesley Chapel, and her beloved children, Kaitlyn Pipkin and Allyson Korte. She is also survived by her mother, Patsy Jones, and her siblings, Cindy Jones and Joey Jones. She will be greatly missed by her two cherished pets, Molly and Harley. Kandy was predeceased by her husband, Jeffery Korte, who passed away on August 28, 2007.
A memorial service will be held on August 17, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Falcon Church of Christ.
