Julia Florence Lebidzinski Gattullo, 95, passed away on the morning of December 31st, 2025 in Land O' Lakes, Florida. She was born on September 6th, 1930, to her parents, John and Julia Lebidzinski in Staten Island, New York, one of three children.

On January 28th, 1951, Julia married the love of her life, Robert Michael Gattullo in Staten Island, New York. Shortly thereafter, she began her long career as a Registered Nurse. she was a nurse for over 30 years started out as a night nurse in the operating room at Staten Island Hospital, ran methadone clinics in Staten Island New York, in Florida she opened and ran nursing homes, was a director of nurses, and ended her career working in hospice care in Florida.

Robert and Julia would have three children together, Robert, Michael, and Julie. The family would relocate to Florida, living in Venice, San Antonio, and finally settling in Land O' Lakes.

Julia is predeceased by her husband, Robert, and son, Michael, as well as her brother Henry and sister Caroline, and her parents, John and Julia.

She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Michael) Stookey; son, Robert (Barbara) Gattullo; her grandson, Mitchell Stookey; granddaughters, Jennifer Wellman and Lauren Stookey; and great-granddaughter Hannah Wellman.

Julia's services will be held on Thursday, January 8th, beginning at 1PM, at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Zephyrhills, Florida.
