Obituary

Judith Anne Woulfe (née Boxill), lovingly known as Judi, age 73, passed peacefully at her home in Whispering Oaks, Ridge Manor, Florida, on Sunday, November 23, 2025, surrounded by loved ones after six days in hospice care. Her passing followed a very aggressive form of brain cancer (glioblastoma).

Born on September 16, 1952, in Memphis, Tennessee, Judi was the daughter of Gale and Irene Boxill. She graduated from Downingtown High School and Waynesburg University in Pennsylvania. She went on to pursue graduate studies at Penn State University.

In 1978, Judi married the love of her life, George Woulfe, and together they celebrated 47 years of marriage marked by deep devotion, shared adventures, and unwavering partnership.

Judi is survived by her daughters, Alicia Woulfe, married to Jack Dolan, and Linda married to Jeff Carter also brother in law Joe Woulfe and Dana. She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Travis Woulfe, who passed in 2019. She was also predeceased by her brother, William Boxill. She is survived as well by her cherished grandchildren, who brought immense joy and light into her life along with nieces and nephew.

A dedicated educator, Judi spent many years shaping young lives through her work in special education. She eventually retired from the Coatesville Area School District, where she made a lasting impact through her patience, compassion, and commitment to her students.

Judi was a woman of warmth, thoughtfulness, and quiet strength. Judi never missed a moment to show she cared. Whether it was a birthday, a celebration, a condolence, or simply a hello, she sent a card—each one handwritten and chosen with love. She inherited this beautiful habit from both her father and mother. She carried it forward with grace, reminding everyone how meaningful a simple note can be.

She enjoyed reading, crafting, traveling with George, camping, and preparing beautiful meals when hosting family and friends. Judi found joy in staying organized and taking on small DIY projects, always ready to lend her creativity and capable hands. Above all, she was the person who answered every call, showed up when needed, and made those around her feel supported and understood.

A celebration of Judi's life will be held at a future date to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation made in Judi's name. You may choose a cause that reflects your own connection to her, or support one of the organizations that meant so much to Judi: Wounded Warrior Project, ASPCA, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Moffitt Cancer Center Neurology, HPH Hospice, Dade City Fl or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Though she is gone, her love and the memories she created will remain forever.
