Obituary

Judith Marie Klein (Moran) “Judi” lit up every room she walked or danced into! She was an independent fun loving free spirited soul, mother to Jill and Theresa, Gramma “Jewy” to Justine and Juliet and hair stylist, mentor, and friend to many. Due to Alzheimer’s her time here on earth was cut short on February 17, 2026 just after celebrating her 80th birthday. Her family rejoices in knowing she is in heaven completely whole, laughing, and dancing with Jesus!

Judi was the middle child of five siblings (Jane, Trish, Judi, Laurel, and Pete) born to Larry and Dorothy Klein on February 2, 1946 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After attending beauty and barber school right out of high school Judi used her artistic talents to do hair and with her work ethic and entrepreneurial qualities co-owned a salon at the age of 19 in Pittsburgh. After relocating to Florida she continued her work as a stylist and barber in many salons while supporting two children independently. She opened her own salon Judi’s Hair Plus in Ridge Manor, Florida, where she made people laugh and added to their beauty for over 35 years.

On her days off she loved playing and working “Bubble Gum Ranch” in Bushnell, Florida complete with acreage, cows, horses, chickens, gardens, barns, and tractors. She always loved to have people visit, ride horses, cook something she raised or killed, fish in the pond or slough, and sit by a bonfire. If she wasn’t on her ranch she was probably jitterbugging somewhere as dancing was her other favorite past time. In her teenage years she taught ballet to earn money and the love of dancing stayed with her throughout her life. Judi lived her last years at Compass Rose Memory Care Home and would frequently dance with the staff, put her leg up on the nurses counter, or show off that she could do a split!

Judi lived her life with Jesus as her guide and was bold to tell people about Him. She also “lived” her Christianity by helping others whether financial, needing a place to stay, needing a job, or emotional support. She was a help to many.

Judi is survived by her two daughters Jill Jolly (and Lawson Jolly), Theresa Moran, and granddaughters Justine Jolly and Juliet Jolly.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations in honor of Judi to National Right to Life, the cause she wholeheartedly supported.

Finally, as her license plate said on her white diesel dually pick up truck… “CGRAMGO”!
