IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Judith Ann
Geiger
July 23, 1941 – February 6, 2025
Judith Ann Geiger, lovingly known as Judy, passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on July 23, 1941, in Buffalo, New York, she was the daughter of Eleanor and Kenneth Johnston.
Judy's life was filled with love, adventure, and dedication to her family and community. She married the love of her life, William Arthur Geiger, on November 19, 1961, in the Rose Garden of Pasadena Community Church. Together, they built a beautiful life, raising their three children, Christina Ann McDowell, William Arthur Geiger Jr. (Kristi), and Patricia Ann Geiger. She was a devoted grandmother to Brooke (Alex), Sean, Justin (Carson), Drake, Lily, and Kat, and a proud great-grandmother to Braxton and Olivia.
A woman of remarkable determination and intellect, Judy graduated from St. Petersburg High School before earning her master's degree in business from the University of South Florida and obtaining her real estate license. Throughout her career, she made a lasting impact in the financial and marine industries, working with Florida Federal, Empire Savings and Loan, and as an office manager at Central Marine.
Judy had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in gardening, fishing, boating, and farming. Her talents extended beyond hobbies—she was a competitive water skier, a Master Gardener, and an accomplished angler, earning first-place titles in Tarpon, Kingfish, and Lady's Inshore Fishing Tournaments. She was even crowned Ms. Gulfport.
Her heart for service was evident in her countless volunteer efforts, supporting pet rescues, land conservation, local schools, the Boys & Girls Club, FCA, CCA, Northeast Pasco Rural Group, the Pasco County Fair, and many other causes. She cared deeply for her community, always willing to lend a helping hand.
Above all, Judy cherished her beloved pets—Jasper, Pretty Girl, Little Kitty, Biggun, Lexi, Socks, and Sadie—and the many farm animals that brought her joy. She is now reunited with her late husband, William, who passed on December 27, 2023.
A Funeral Mass will be held for Judy on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with a reception immediately to follow in the Church Hall. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and generosity will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
