Juanita Reynolds of Wesley Chapel, FL, age 82, died Tuesday, Nov 25 2014. Juanita spent the last 20 years living in Florida with her companion, William Pope and spending her summers in Harpswell, Maine. Juanita was born in Waterville, Maine to Robert D. and Edith H. Woods, and lived in Oakland where she graduated from Williams High School. At the age of eighteen, Juanita left the comfort of home for the excitement of New York City to become a stewardess for United Airlines. It was there she met her husband of 34 years, John J. Reynolds, married Nov 19, 1955 and had four children. As her children grew, Juanita was very active in their lives as a 4-H leader and teachers aid while making every holiday a special one creating family traditions with her homemade and creative touches. The family later returned to New England and lived in Atkinson, New Hampshire, where she became a successful Real Estate Broker and Co-owner of Concept 100 Real Estate. At the age of 57 Juanita wanted to do even more and went back to school for medical assistant. During this time she would also meet another special man in her life, William Pope. Several years later they would make Florida their home. Juanita was a very caring and compassionate person, being a Deacon and Trustee at the Atkinson Congregational Church in New Hampshire and more recently she was active in the Trinity Church of Wesley Chapel where she found love and support with her Trinity Family. Her activities include jewelry making, an activity she shared with her family, scrapbooking, President of the Garden Club, and card playing with her family. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Janice Reynolds of Newport News, VA., and three daughters and son-in-laws, Sharon and Norman Smith of Plaistow, NH, Carolyn and Kenneth DiPerri of Sandown, NH, and Pamela and Daniel Mierop of Sandown, NH as well as 8 grandchildren, Nicholas and Amanda Smith, Robert and Benjamin Reynolds, Craig and Kyle DiPerri, Wendy and Timothy Mierop as well as one great grandson, Jacob Reynolds. She is also survived by her sister Beverly Paca of Wilmington, DE and many nieces and nephews.Juanita will be greatly missed by her family and many friends, who enjoyed her company and helped to ensure she was happy and comfortable in the final days. Juanita truly loved spending the summers on the Maine coast for the past 57 years with her children and grandchildren and always managed to save enough energy to beat them at cards.
