Joyce Marie Hancock (68) of Zephyrhills, Florida passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Gulfside Hospice Care Center. Joyce was born August 26th, 1955, In Tampa Florida and was the youngest daughter of Lewis and Scholastica Hancock. She is survived by her three siblings: Older sister Deborah (Walter)Thorn and their son, Eric (Barbara) Thorn along with their children Emma and Connor and their daughter Barbara Thorn (Brandon) and her son Trevor; older brother Wayne (Cinda) Hancock and their son, Travis (Tania) Hancock along with their children Madison and Sierra and daughter Terra (Jeff) Schaer; and younger brother Stephen (Cindy) Hancock and their son Dalton. Joyce retired from Hillsborough County Schools in 2012. Joyces favorite game was BINGO where she made multiple friends over the years. She also enjoyed traveling as much as possible, but traveling to Biloxi for the slots was by far her favorite. Prior to retirement, Joyce could also be found on a cruise with friends. Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on April 19th, 2024, at 10:00 AM. A gathering at the church hall will be after. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Sacred Heart Church or Gulfside Hospice.
