Joshaua Scott Edwards – 45 years old.

After a brave fight with Cancer, Josh went home with the Angels on October 4th, 2026. Josh passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.

Josh was born in Springfield, Illinois to Carl and Shirley Edwards on September 19, 1981. He grew up Girard, Illinois and attended school in Girard, Illinois.

Josh was proceeded in his journey by his father, Carl and his brothers, Jeff and Jason Edwards.

Josh is survived by his mother, Shirley and Stepdad, Ed Winnett; daughter, Ehpia Bradley, her husband, Blake; grandchildren, Liberty, Gemma, and Abil; sister, Angel Blair; Brother-in-law, David Blair, nieces, Hailey, Rachel, and Isabella Blair and his nephew, Nathan Blair.

Josh was a proud member of the United States Army. Sargent Edwards served 9 years and did three tours in Iraq. During his time, he formed an unbreakable bond with his Brothers In Arms.

His laugh, love of music, and his big heart will never be forgotten.

Josh will live on in the hearts of everyone he touched. Josh is at peace with God. Watching over all of us. He will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
