WORRELL, Joseph Preston, age 87, of Webster, passed away on April 19, 2021. He was born on December 27, 1933 in Altha, FL to parents Rufus Worrell & Mary Emma Elizabeth (Owens). Along with his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Preston Worrell Jr; and one daughter, Pamela S. King. Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Virginia Worrell; one daughter, Mellissa Worrell; three grandchildren: Cortny Worrell, Joshua King (Natasha), and Jonathan King; and having attended since 1955, many friends at First Baptist Church Lacoochee.A visitation will be held from 2-3pm on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Hodges Family Funeral Home 301 Chapel. A funeral service will be held at the same location at 11am on Monday, April 26, 2021. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery at 1pm.
