Joseph Henry Tye "Joe" 68, passed away September 30, 2026 at Gulfside Hospice in Zephyrhills. He was born December 28, 1957 in Albany, GA to Bernard William Tye, Sr and Ida Mae Hayes. He recently resided with Jack and Marla Broughton in Bushnell, FL. Joe was a truck driver for many years. Some of his enjoyments included riding motorcycles and eating at Golden Corral. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his son, Michael Tye; sisters, Janet Wood and Donna Swaine; brother, Bernard Tye; grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will take place 11-12 Noon Wednesday, October 7th at Hodges Family Funeral Home. A funeral will be conducted at 12 Noon with burial to follow at Oakside Cemetery.
