Smith, Joseph E. 80, of Wesley Chapel, FL went home to be with his Lord, Tuesday, November 4, 2014 in Dade City. He was born August 25, 1934 in Alabama and moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1990. As an Evangelical Church Planter he travelled globally to 70 different countries teaching and ministering. He was active at Victorious Life Church, founded Joe Smith Ministries and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by 1 son: Jeffrey Smith. He is survived by his wife: Katie Smith; son Mitch & Rebie Smith; daughter-in-law: Sharon Smith; sister: Mary & Joe Black; nephew: Randy niece: Jeanine; 8 grandchildren: Michelle, Sarah, Catelyn, Rachael, Davis, Brandon, Andrea, Hannah; and 4 great grandchildren: Matthew, Colton, Cadon and Marilyn. A Celebration of his Life will take place 11am Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Victorious Life Church in Wesley Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment will take place at Florida National Veterans Cemetery in Bushnell at a later date.
