Joseph Charles Linneman 79, passed away on May 31, 2021 at Gulfside Hospice in Zephyrhills, Florida.

He was born on December 7, 1941 in Camden, New Jersey to Joseph B. and Marie K. Linneman. He grew up in Wildwood, NJ and graduated from Wildwood Catholic High School in 1959. He attended Pierce Junior College and served in the Air National Guard before being called to active duty in 1968. Upon return, he continued his career in the insurance industry. His fondness for the industry and the people he worked with was apparent to all who knew him. He made it a point to stay in touch with most of the friends he made over his long career. He was also involved in the Boy Scouts as a youth and later as a Troop Leader and continued to support the Scouts by having a role on the Executive Board as an insurance advisor.

He enjoyed watching professional wrestling long before it became a craze. As a lifelong baseball fan, he followed the Phillies whether they were World Champions or struggling to get to .500. He retired in 2006 before relocating to Florida.

Joseph married Peggy in 1991 in Edgewater Park, NJ. They were happily married for 30 years.

Joe is survived by his spouse Peggy; his three children Jeffrey Linneman (Justine), Christina Reinhart (Keith), and Joseph Linneman (Dawn) as well as Peggys son Joseph Poplawski (Dana); his sisters Helen Linneman and Mary Anne Satt (Henry); eight grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial mass will be held at St Joan of Arc in Marlton, NJ at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. The family will be greeting friends and relatives at 10:30.

There will also be a memorial service in San Antonio, Florida 10am Friday June 18, 2021 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
