He is survived by his sister, Sue Clare of Zephyrhills, FL; his former spouse and friend, Barbara (Evans) Colburn, of Dade City; his sister-in-law, Cindy Colburn; his daughters, Angela (Daniel) Neuhofer of Ridge Manor and April (Richard) Neuhofer of St. Joseph; his Grandchildren, Dakota (Veronica) Hart, Kaitlyn (Nick) Conley, Alexandra Neuhofer, Heather Neuhofer, and Justin Neuhofer; and his Great Granddaughter, Sophia Neuhofer. Dans family moved from Brent, Alabama to Dade City, Florida when he was around nine years old. He attended Pasco High School before working as a long distance truck driver for 50+ years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and watching old westerns and college sports (he was a huge Gator fan). When his daughters were younger they loved going everywhere he went-it didnt matter where. They especially loved camping and hunting with him in Richloam, boating/tubing/skiing on Lake Iola, and joining him on the "big truck". He will be most remembered for his sense of humor and his big heart.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his name to the American Heart Association.
In keeping with Dans wishes, no services will be held.
