It is with heavy hearts the family of "PEPE" Formoso announces his passing on Thursday September 10, 2015 just 5 days after celebrating his 93rd birthday at home with Family after a long battle with cancer.Surviving are his Daughter Linda Pearl Formoso-Cuff, his 3 grandchildren, Dawnmarie Hode, Michael Joseph Stuckey,Jr and John Joseph Cuff Jr, Great Granddaughter Alyssa Maria Hode of New Jersey. 3 Stepchildren Kevin Chermark, Robin Chermark, Lori Frost all of Florida and very special Grandchildren and Great Grand Children also. Pepe is also survived by 4 sisters all of New Jersey Delfina Formoso Sanzari, Clara Formoso Rodriquez, Maria Gibson Teixeira and Laurinda Teixeira Padilla and predeceased by his Mother and 2 younger brothers.Pepe Proudly served in the US Army he also had a life long career as an operating engineer in construction. He never met a machine he didn't like.Pepe would do anything for his family who he loved unconditionally. Pepe never met anyone he didn't like and befriended everyone and once a friend of Pepe you were there for life and Pepe loved his friends sincerely and would go the extra mile for his friends.Pepe had a unique sense of humor and loved to tease and flirt one of his favorite sayings was "I'm not a dirty old man-I'm a sexy senior citizen". We are going to miss his zest for life and old world Spanish beliefs. "There is a right way a wrong way and Pepe's way is always the right way" Pepe loved dancing bowling and life in general and lived his life to the fullest.Military Honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell on Thursday, September 24th at 11:00, followed by a gathering at Falcon Hall located in Blue Jay Mobile home park. All are welcome.
