Burdick, Josefina A., 94, of Zephyrhills, Florida, went to sleep until the day Almighty God whom she dearly loved awakens her to be in paradise after passing away in her home Sunday, January 17, 2021. She was surrounded by her daughter, Ruby Robertson; son, Martin Burdick; and care-giver Alicia Carrenga. Josefina was born in Las Palmas De Veraquas, Republic of Panama on December 17, 1926. Her parents were Eleuterio Adames and Marcelina Aponte. She was married to Glenn H. Burdick in the Panama Canal Zone. After her husband's retirement they relocated to Zephyrhills, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Burdick; her brothers, Angel and Didimo Aponte; sisters, Ana Aponte and Josefa North; and son, David Burdick. Josefina is survived by her children, Clelia Chestnut, Ruby M. Robertson, Glenn P. Burdick and Martin Burdick; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Her hobby and passion were her flowers and plants. "Mami, We will miss you and keep you in our hearts forever, Rest In Peace."

Family will receive friends on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 36327 Highway 54 in Zephyrhills, Florida at 11 am. Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens in Dade City, Florida.
