In Loving Memory of

José M. Cruz Correa ("Manny")

February 2, 1943 – July 27, 2026

With heavy hearts and unwavering hope in Christ, we announce the passing of our beloved José M. Cruz Correa, affectionately known as Manny.

Born on February 2, 1943, in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico, Manny lived a life marked by quiet strength, steadfast faith, and genuine kindness. He was a humble man whose character spoke louder than words. His gentle spirit, warm smile, and compassionate heart left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Above all else, Manny loved the Lord. His faith was the foundation of his life and carried him through every season with grace and perseverance. He found comfort in God's promises and lived as a faithful example of humility, patience, and unconditional love. Even in his final days, his life reflected the peace that comes from trusting Jesus.

Family was one of Manny's greatest treasures. He is lovingly remembered by his brother, Josué Cruz; his sister, Elsa Torres; his niece, Maritza Torres; his nephew, Reinaldo Torres Jr.; and his great-nephew, Rey G. Pate, along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were forever enriched by his love and gentle presence.

Manny also shared a special bond with two beloved four-legged companions, Miss Lola and Miss DayZee, whose faithful companionship brought him comfort, joy, and countless smiles. They were family to him, and their loud presence was a blessing throughout his days.

Those who knew Manny will remember him not only for his kindness but for the way he made people feel welcomed, valued, and loved. He lived simply, loved deeply, and served others without seeking recognition. His legacy is not found in possessions but in the countless lives he touched through his compassion, humility, and unwavering faith.

While our hearts grieve his absence, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. We find peace knowing that Manny has heard the words every faithful servant longs to hear:

"Well done, good and faithful servant... Enter into the joy of your Lord." Matthew 25:23

Though we will miss him dearly, we celebrate a life well lived and a soul now resting in the presence of his Savior. His love, his example, and his faith will continue to inspire us until the day we are reunited.

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever home with the Lord.
