Johnny "Von" Stanley age 87, of Dade City, Florida gained his heavenly wings on April 13, 2023. Von was born in Opp, Alabama on April 9, 1936, to parents John Porter and Alma Jewel Howard Stanley. Von married Audria Ann Aughtman on August 21, 1959, and shortly after relocated to Dade City in 1960.

He is survived by his son, Todd (Betty) Stanley of Lake Panasoffkee and daughter, Doris (Mark) Melton of Dade City; his sister, Joyce Snell and brother Henton Stanley; his three grandchildren Tori Stanley, Casey Melton, Cody Melton; one great Grandchild Caden Melton; in-laws and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, his sisters; Marjorie Spurling, Faye Lucas, Quida Smith, Jean Boggs, Flora Broom and his parents.

Von worked as a Heavy Equipment Service Representative for 35+ years and worked alongside his son in the hay fields. He had a witty sense of humor and contagious laugh that gifted us with many happy memories we will cherish for eternity. He loved his family dearly and especially his grandchildren and great grandchild. They were his sunshine.

A graveside service will be held 10:00am Monday, April 24, 2023, at the Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery 11531 US Highway 301 Dade City.

Von was provided care and support at Rucki Hospice Care Center in Zephyrhills, FL 33541. Your donation will assist the next family with their loved one providing comfort and peace of mind at the end of life.
