John D. Wiggins, 64, of Zephyrhills, Florida passed away on Sunday, May 27th, 2018 from natural causes with his closest friend Adrian at his side. Born in Cleburne, Texas on August 30th, 1953 to a loving mother, Joyce and father, Cotton who owned and operated a farm in Grandview, Texas. John began a life well lived. His career choices included trucking, pawnbroking, computer programming, graphic arts, real estate, photography, and most recently as the loss prevention officer for a local chain of pawn shops. All of which he excelled in. He enjoyed crappie fishing from his pontoon boat, flying his plane, restoring and building race cars, his gun and knife collection, and a good cup of coffee along with a story or two with close friends. His laughter was loud and hearty and he always followed it with "you know" Those of us fortunate enough to get past Johns feisty exterior persona got to experience Johns true selflessness first hand in everything John did. He was truly a man that would be there any time you needed him. He is survived by a sister, Vicky Mannan and a niece, Rebecca from Gore, Oklahoma, and an Aunt Nora, in Alvarado, Texas and many, many friends. Visitation will be Thursday May 31, 2018 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Hodges Family Funeral Home 301 Chapel, Dade City FL. Funeral services will be Thursday May 31, 2018 at 1:00PM at Hodges Family Funeral Home 301 Chapel Dade City, FL. with burial to follow at Floral Memory Gardens, Dade City, FL.
