SZATYARI, John Joseph, 66, of Zephyrhills, FL passed away at Florida Hospital Tampa on March 6, 2018. John was born on February 3, 1952 in Kankakee, IL to parents Joseph C. Szatyari & Audrey Fay (Loyce) Szatyari. John married the love of his life, Patricia (Lawson) Szatyari, on May 23, 1981. They moved to Florida from Peachtree City, Georgia almost 15 years ago. John was strong in his faith and incredibly hardworking. He loved his job at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills, where he had worked as a catheterization laboratory assistant for the last 12 years. Those who knew him best describe John as a fun-loving jokester. Some of his favorite things were gardening, motorcycles and scooters, and Bob Dylan. Along with his loving wife, John is survived by one daughter, Kelly Szatyari; one son, Chris Whitfield (Leigh); two brothers, Mike Dimitri (Dee) and Jay Szatyari (Roxanne); and two sisters, Vida James (Kenny) and Diann Pierce (Roger).A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 6pm to 8pm at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, FL. A funeral service will take place on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 11am at Faith Baptist Church in Zephyrhills, FL. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens.A memorial service will also be held at Zephyrhills Hospital Chapel on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 5pm. Visitation
