Johnny was employed by PAW Demolition, a demolition contractor in Port Richey, Fl, Pasco County. He was a heavy equipment operator and genuinely enjoyed his job, as well as his co-workers.
He loved the ocean. It was in his soul. He loved to make people laugh! If he was in the room, you were going to be told a joke, or story, that always made the whole room laugh. He made the whole world cry laughing!
Johnny is survived by his three beautiful children and grandchildren, whom he loved to the "MOON and BACK" and he was absolutely the proudest of. His son Noah Daniel Oelkers (Jessica), his grandson Noah Sutton Oelkers. His daughter Rainey Oelkers Angerosa (Nick) and two grandchildren, Brody Angerosa and Gracie Angerosa. His son John Noah Oelkers Jr (Cheyenne). His father, Wallace Wayne Oelkers Sr. preceded "Johnny" in death. He is survived by his loving mother, June Maud Ball, who he adored, loved, and took care of with his whole heart! Johnny is survived by one brother Wallace Wayne Oelkers Jr. (Susan). His niece Kaitlyn Oelkers Loshak (Andre), his nephew Christian Oelkers. Johnny is survived by one sister Sherry Oelkers Braumuller (John). His nephew Kyle McCarty and niece Megan McCarty. GRIEF
I had my own notion of grief
I thought it was a sad time
That followed the death of someone you love.
And you had to push through it
To get to the other side.
But Im learning there is no other side.
There is no pushing through
But rather,
There is absorption.
Adjustment.
Acceptance.
And grief is not something that you complete
But rather you endure.
