John "Dutch" Leonhardt, 88, of Zephyrhills, Florida passed away on September 28, 2023. Dutch was born on December 17, 1934, in Albany, New York to John Leonhardt Sr. and Ruth Wilbur Leonhardt. He grew up in New York with his two siblings; Barbara Russell and Martin Leonhardt. Dutch received many awards for sports during his high school years at Albany High School. He retired from Anheuser-Busch. Dutch stayed active with football, baseball, and basketball. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, OTB, and playing bingo with his friends. He is preceded in death by his first wife: June Leonhardt and brother: Martin Leonhardt. Dutch is survived by his wife: Margaret Leonhardt of Zephyrhills, FL; Children: Frank (Karen) Leonhardt of Loris, SC, Brain (Jennifer) Ridgeway of Cleveland, OH, Becky (Kris) Bridges of Cleveland, OH; Several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and beloved friends who became like family.
